10:00 am - Second Time Around Garden’s
10:00 am - Baughman Center Walk N More: The concept behind this class is that you are “walking” approximately 3 miles during the class. In addition to walking, you will be doing many other cardio moves to include knee lifts, kicks, grapevines, lunges and many more. It is energizing and fun for all fitness levels!
10:30 am - Tamarack Wildlife Center - Birds of Prey
11:00 am - 3:00 pm - UPMC Minutes Matter
11:00 am - Baughman Center Yoga: Beginner class introducing fundamentals of yoga such as breath, alignment and balance. This will be "standing yoga". No mats needed!
11:00 am - DJs Greenhouse Class: Presentation on putting together a container planting and what plants to use for continual color all summer long.
11:30 am - Mark Russell - Measuring the Health of our River.  Shenango River watershed research techniques and findings since 2006
12:00 pm - Sun Star Baton Twirling
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm - Baughman Center Hoop Shoot: Contest will go from 12-1:30. You may register at any time between 11-12:30. Once they shoot they may leave and we will reach out to the winners on Monday. There are 2 age groups. 4-7 and 8-13. Each contestant will shoot 10 free throws. We will have 1 winner from each age group.

The Riverside Outdoor Rexpo is a partnership event:

Restore Riverside Park, the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Greenville Area Education Foundation are partnering to bring a brand new Outdoor Recreation and Adventure Expo to Mercer County. On Saturday, June 8th, 2024, our community will get to celebrate National Get Outdoors Day by visiting Riverside Park where:

1. A vast array of exhibitors will showcase recreation-centered goods and services

2. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops.

3. Our community and visitors can participate in outdoor wellness activities such as a 5k, Kayaking trips, and biking.

4. Food and entertainment will further enhance the experience throughout the park.

This event aims to serve as a reminder that our local recreation opportunities are an incredible asset to our community. The partnering organizations are dedicated to making this event a success in celebrating local recreation and our outdoor beauty and promoting community engagement and awareness.
